PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT POLICY
The City of Statesville is committed to assisting our customers in managing their utility bills.
Eligibility: If your current utility bill is past due but your services have not yet been disconnected due to non-payment, you may qualify for a payment arrangement. To check your eligibility and set up a payment arrangement, please follow these steps:
- Login to Your Account: Click on Sign In/Register in the top right corner.
- Select "Payment Arrangement": If you are eligible, you will see a "Payment Arrangement" option on the left-hand side of your account dashboard.
- Minimum Down Payment: To initiate the payment arrangement, you will be required to make a down payment equal to 30% of the past due amount. This down payment must be made at the time of arranging the payment schedule.
- Choose the Number of Monthly Installments: You can select the number of months (up to 3) in which you wish to pay the remaining balance. Please note that a $5.00 charge applies for each month of the payment arrangement.
Important Considerations
It is important to remember that your regular bill for the upcoming months will include the current monthly charges in addition to the installment amount for the payment arrangement. Until your existing payment arrangement is fully paid, we are unable to consider any additional payment arrangements. To maintain your utility services and benefit from the payment arrangement, it is important to follow the agreed-upon terms. Failure to meet the terms will result in the requirement to pay the entire outstanding balance to restore your utility services.
